Ian McFarland has been the quintessential "generalist" in revenue growth since his career began. This stems from a life growing up on a golf course in a lower-income area. On Sunday, he grew up asking CEOs if they wanted to join him for 9 holes without being laughed at and on Monday he had to get through a school day without being ostracized. It was a weird upbringing but one that brought unique perspective.
Through two decades of sales and supply chain leadership in distribution, commercial real estate and technology, Ian has built a reputation as a direct negotiator and forthright partner. An avid reader of history, philosophy and stoicism, Ian is known for his unique analogies to bring simplicity to complex problems.
Together with his partners and team, he has built a business around his ability to identify the elephant in the room and address it head-on.
Ian is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound (Tacoma, WA). He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters. When he's not coaching youth softball, or rooting on his beloved Washington Huskies, you'll find him on the golf course, attempting to regain the glory of his competitive youth.
